Humic Acid Manufacturing

Saint Humic is a China-based manufacturer and supplier of humic substances and agricultural ingredients. The humic acid and nitro humic acid granules shown on this page are produced in our own facility from leonardite.

What we manufacture

Our main product range includes humic acid powder and granules, potassium humate, sodium humate, ammonium humate, nitro humic acid, fulvic acid and potassium fulvate. Depending on the product, available physical forms include powder, granules, flakes, crystals and liquid concentrates.

We also supply selected amino acid fertilizers, seaweed extracts and specialty agricultural ingredients used in fertilizer and biostimulant formulations.

Granulation process

Raw material treatment. Leonardite is treated with H₂O₂ or HNO₃ for further oxidation.
Mixing. Binder and water are mixed into the material.
Granulation. The mix is formed into granules in the granulator.
Drying. Granules are dried in a rotary cylinder drier.
Cooling. A cooling cylinder brings the granules down to temperature.
Sieving. Granules are screened to the required size.
Packing. Finished granules are packed in bags.

Matching the material to the process

Customers do not always need the same product. A potassium humate used in a water-soluble fertilizer may require different properties from one used for soil application, and a bulk material purchased for fertilizer blending requires different attention from a finished product prepared for retail distribution.

For liquid fertilizer manufacturers, we pay particular attention to solubility, pH, sediment formation and compatibility with other ingredients.
For dry fertilizer manufacturers, particle size, moisture, handling properties and blending consistency may be more important.
A high humic acid percentage does not necessarily mean that a material will dissolve completely in water, and raw humic acid and soluble potassium humate behave differently under acidic conditions.

Storage and dispatch

Packed product is stored under cover before dispatch and stacked on pallets for export orders. Standard packing is 25 kg woven bags with an inner poly bag; kraft paper bags, jumbo bags and customized packaging are available on request.
